ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS

All our standard charms are made of 100% 925 sterling silver. We also make use of 14K Gold plated, Rose Gold plated, 18K solid gold, Swarovski Crystals, Diamonds and Cubic Zirconia. If you need further assistance, please contact us via info@charmsa.co.za

Our charms do not have a screw mechanism, but we offer stoppers and locks to fix charms’ position on bracelets and to stop charms from sliding. Our charms fit all major brands bracelets, with the exception of our stoppers and safety chains as these items contain a rubber lining which is not compatible with other brands bracelets’ screw mechanism.

Our charms are stamped with S925 if possible. Some charms are to fine and its not possible to stamp it with S925

All of our charms fit all major brands’ bracelets, however, some of our stoppers and safety chains will not as these items contain a silicone rubber insert that is not compatible with other bracelets’ screw mechanism. Our charms have a mounting hole of about 4mm to 4.5 mm in diameter and will fit any bracelet thinner than that

To make silver durable enough for use in jewelry, pure silver, which has a .999 (99.9%) purity, is often alloyed with small quantities of copper (7.5%). The copper is added to strengthen the silver, and the resulting product is referred to as .925 sterling silver (92.5%).

• Polish your silver jewelry regularly using non-abrasive soft cleaning cloth, or with lukewarm water, gently brush it clean and then rinse it in clean water.

• To remove caked-on dirt, let it soak for 10 minutes in lukewarm, soapy water, gently brush it clean, then rinse in clean water. For a shinier surface, polish with a cloth.

• Do not expose jewelry to chemicals. Silver is detailed through oxidation. Exposure to harsh chemicals can alter the appearance of your CharmSA product. These chemicals include, but are not limited to, Liquid Silver Polish, Pools, Hot Tubs, and Spas. Oxidized silver and pearls are easily damaged.

• When not using your jewelry, avoid exposing it to direct sunlight as well as harsh substances like chlorine. Store them in a cool, dry place, a zip-lock bag, or an individual cloth pouch to help prevent both tarnishing and scratching.

SHIPPING

All standard items will usually be delivered in approximately 2 weeks. All items are imported, checked, packed and sent out with local door to door couriers.

Stock items will be delivered in 2 to 5 business days, depending on the location of the delivery address.

Custom made items have a manufacturing time of approximately 3 to 6 weeks and will be sent out with overnight door to door courier once completed.

If the item that you want isn't in our stock collection we wil order it as soon as you place your order and it will usually be delivered within 2 weeks.

All orders are sent with door to door courier. We make use of The Courier Guy, Bex and Aramex.

A flat shipping fee of R100 is charged per parcel.

Shipping is FREE for orders above R1000.

No, all orders will be sent from our Cape Town premises. There will be no hidden fees.

No. Currently CharmSA only delivers in South Africa.

Once your order is packed and booked with the courier, you will receive an e-mail with a tracking number and link. You can use this to track your order. Note that it can sometimes take up to 24 hours for the tracking number to start to work.

EXCHANGE & RETURN

All purchases from CharmSA will be covered under the following limited warranty:

* If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you have 48 hours after receipt to inform us. We will give a full refund or exchange. We will cover the return shipping cost (this excludes the wrong sized item). If you want to exchange your item for a different size you are responsible for the return shipping cost and the new item replacement shipping cost.

* Up to 14 days after receipt of your order. You will be covered for any manufacturer faults. We will be responsible for all shipping cost. We will give you a full refund, exchange or gift voucher.

* Up to 30 days after receipt of your order. You will be covered up to 75% of the replacement cost for any manufacturer faults. You will be responsible for all shipping cost. We will replace your item after you paid all shipping cost (return shipping and new item replacement) and the 25% replacement fee. We will replace your item for the same item or gift voucher if the item is discontinued. No refunds.

* Up to 60 days after receipt of your order. You will be covered up to 50% of the replacement cost for any manufacturer faults. You will be responsible for all shipping cost. We will replace your item after you paid all shipping cost (return shipping and new item replacement) and the 50% replacement fee. We will replace your item for the same item or gift voucher if the item is discontinued. No refunds.

*Our warranty only last for 60 days, after 60 days we will not take any responsibility.

The following exclusions will apply:

* Accidental loss ofi item/s

* Accidental damage

* Misuse

* Oxidation

* Chemical damage

Improper use

Please Note

* All Custom Made Items cannot be returned unless it is defective or damaged on receipt. No refunds will be given on custom made items.

* Special orders and bulk orders are non refundable once placed.

We will contact you as soon as possible to arrange for the return of the items to us. Note that the items must be unused and in the original packaging, except for manufacturer defects.

We reserve the right to amend the warranty and T&C at any time without prior notification.

*Please submit a return at our return page and attach clear photos of the items that represent a quality issue.
*Please follow the instructions that are provided by our customer service team.
*Returns will be processed within 3 business days of receipt of your item(s).
* You will receive an email notification once your return is processed.
* Please note that payment processing is beyond our control and it may take up to 7-10 additional business days for the funds to be credited to your account used during checkout.

Once your order has been submitted we will immediately begin production on the personalized items. If you would like to cancel your purchase, your order is subject to a 30% restocking fee.

PAYMENT

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Payment:
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

We accept multiple payment methods including credit cards, and debit cards that is processed thru PayFast. You can also pay with EFT or bank deposit. We are unable to accept payment via cash on delivery. You can select your payment method once you proceed to checkout.

Refunds are processed within 3 to 5 days after you received confirmation of the cancellation.

If you paid with via Payfast or Payflex, it can take up to 10 days for the refund to reflect in your bank after the refund was processed by us.

Refunds are processed in to the same bank account, that was used to pay for the order.

Sometime the payment systems take a while to update. You do not have to worry in this time that your payment is lost, it will update.
